In this study, the book titled "İslam’ın Güler Yüzü/Islam, l'autre visage", prepared by Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch and translated by Cemal Aydın, was introduced and examined. The book consists of a question-and-answer interview. It is shaped around Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch, the author of the book of Questions, becoming a Muslim and her love for Mevlana. The interview was conducted by the couple Rachel and Jean-Pierre Cartier. Prof. Dr. Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch gave lectures and conferences in many universities around the world, such as Sorbonne and Al-Azhar Universities. Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch, who was born in 1909, passed away on July 24, 1999, under the name Havva Hanımefendi after converting to Islam. Her body was brought to Konya and She was buried in Üçler Cemetery, close to Hz. Mevlana's tomb.
